COVID19 Policy 2020

COVID 19 policy for students and Instructors to create a safe hygienic learning environment we have formed a coherent policy based on the government business COVID19 guidance.
Your Instructor will be in contact with you the day before or morning of to confirm your contact and health before lessons.
General Hygiene for students and Instructors
You must wash your hands before entering the vehicle.
The instructor will have cleaned down all controls and surfaces in the cockpit and surfaces in the car prior to students arrival and before entry to the car.
-I will have a hand sanitiser and you can bring your own.
-If you cough or sneeze into your hand you must pull over when it is safe to do so and sanitize your hands and controls.
-To avoid this - always try to cough or sneeze into your sleeve or try to clear your throat with your mouth closed.
You must wear a face mask when in the vehicle, As now stated on all public transport by the government. Unless any health issues or disabilities cause you not to be able to wear one.
* Students must provide their own face masks and be responsible for bringing their own PPE with them to their lessons,
* Disposable face masks can be used but must be clean / new
* Washable face masks must be clean
* Gloves can be worn if you choose
* Any belonging brought must be keep in a ziplock bag keys mobile phone if you need to bring with you to lessons
* Hand sanitizer will be available please if possible bring your own.
* After lessons you must wash your hands,dispose of any rubbish and change clothes
Windows will be Open during the lessons to ensure ventilation and ensure that the fan is set to bring air in from outside the vehicle and not circulate . Students advised to dress appropriately as windows will be kept open.
Avoid touching your face, particularly eyes, nose, and mouth with your hands to prevent from getting infected.
If you display any symptoms of COVID19 then you must inform your instructor before your lesson so that the lesson is rescheduled.
Do not come to your lesson if
-
you’ve been told by the NHS Test and Trace service that you’ve been in contact with a person who has coronavirus
You have to stay at home (self-isolate).
The guidelines state that If you have symptoms of coronavirus, self-isolate for 14 days.
After 14 days:
* if you do not have a high temperature, you can stop self-isolating
* if you still have a high temperature, keep self-isolating until your temperature returns to normal
If you have been in close contact with or live with anyone who has Covid 19 or has been displaying signs then you should not attend your driving lesson.
The guidance states:
If you live with someone who has symptoms, self-isolate for 14 days from the day their symptoms started.
This is because it can take 14 days for symptoms to appear.
If more than 1 person at home has symptoms, self-isolate for 14 days from the day the first person started having symptoms.
* If you get symptoms while self-isolating – you should self-isolate for 14 days.
* If you do not get symptoms while self-isolating – you can stop self-isolating after 14 days.
If you have symptoms
If you are self isolating, have a new continuous cough or high temperature please do not attend your driving lesson. Contact us as soon as possible and your training will be rescheduled free of charge.

Any lessons cancelled last minute due to covid virus the lessons will not be charged, however students that do not give notice or miss lessons not due to health and have not communicated with their instructor will lose their full lesson fees.
We have taken all precautions & guidelines in using PPE and appropriate cleaning of the car before and after lessons and tests and its upto you if you wish to continue with your lessons.
