INTENSIVE LESSONS

Rain

An intensive driving course can be many different things and is dependant on an individual's experience and need for the the student which is best to be discussed with the instructor before fully settling on this process.

As an intensive course, these seem most suitable for those students that have some understanding of vehicles or maybe driven before through a hobby or work maybe homelife, such example students from motorcross, live and grown up on a farm using farm quad bike trucks on private lands. moped user any previous knowledge is a plus point.

The best way to decide if this the best option for you is generally to have a conversation to see what your expectations and understanding of an Intensive is, each new student I take on an individual basis, and suitability for your learning styles. after initial contact, we would have the first lesson to see this if this is a suitable method for yourself. we would then plan in the bulk of lessons needed depending on any previous experiences this will differ to each individual.

The DVSA recommends that new car drivers who have just passed their practical test consider taking Pass Plus.

Pass Plus is a course of six extra modules taken with your driving instructor after passing your test.

How Pass Plus training works

Pass Plus training takes at least 6 hours. It has 6 modules, covering driving:

  • in town

  • in all weathers

  • on rural roads

  • at night

  • on dual carriageways

  • on motorways

All modules should be practical sessions, although local conditions may mean some are theory-based. You’ll normally spend at least 6 hours driving.

You will not take a test but you’ll be assessed throughout the course. To pass you’ll have to reach the required standard in all modules.

Why Do Pass Plus
Pass Plus Tuition to lower insurance premiums and gain more experience. Check and shop around insurance companies to whom will accept the Pass Plus Certificate, Statistics show that new drivers are more likely to have an accident in the first two years of passing their test than at any other time in their driving career. In the first year of driving, one driver in five is involved in an accident. This is mainly down to a lack of driving experience, and this is where Pass Plus comes in!

Pass Plus will build upon your existing skills and knowledge, it will teach you how to anticipate, plan for and deal with all kinds of hazards, and can help you to be more confident on the roads.
